Oak Valley Designs was founded by Chappell Padgett in 2010 in response to an ever-evolving flooring industry. As someone who had been part of the carpet industry since childhood, Chap wanted to create a product that is versatile, simple, and custom. He came across many clients looking for a high-end, simple, effective solution for stairs when the traditional runner seemed like such a commitment and expense.

The BAYSIDE CHARM line of high-end carpet stair treads is a beautiful soft polyester made of 100% PureColor Soft Solution Dyed BCF. PureColor is Dreamweaver's proprietary solution-dyed fiber that allows the color to penetrate all the way through the fiber verses traditional carpet fibers where only the outer edge of the fiber is dyed. This classic, simple, and soft choice adds a warm layer to your home at an affordable price.

Stairs are a high-traffic area and are subject to wear and tear as they age. Our anti-slip carpet treads are the best choice to protect your wooden steps. They are easy to install with no nails, staples, or tape required. Simply remove the release liner, center it on the existing wooden step, and firmly press down. (Does NOT adhere to carpet. Steps must be free of oil and dirt.)
